Boring API

Use the tools in Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants

MCP server URL (no sign-in needed): https://api.relaex-engineers.de/mcp

Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile)

1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Name: Boring API, URL: https://api.relaex-engineers.de/mcp, no authentication.
3. In a chat, enable the connector in the tools menu. Claude then calls the tools on its own when a request fits, or when you ask for them by name.

ChatGPT

1. In the settings under Apps (formerly Connectors), open the advanced settings and enable Developer mode (paid plans; on Business and Enterprise an admin enables it).
2. Create an app: name Boring API, MCP server URL https://api.relaex-engineers.de/mcp, authentication No authentication.
3. In a chat, select the app from the tools menu. Files you upload in the chat are passed to the tools automatically.

Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http boring https://api.relaex-engineers.de/mcp

Other clients: add a remote MCP server with transport “Streamable HTTP” and the URL above.

With your own data: upload the files in the chat, share a link (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Dropbox) or paste the table. The assistant can also pass small tables as CSV text.

Tools

• supplier_compare: compare two supplier price lists (CSV, Excel, DATANORM, PDF).
• documents_tables: extract tables from a PDF with page and position.
• merchant_validate: check Google, Shopify and Meta product feeds.
